Students are represented by the Muni University Students’ Guild — the Guild Government.

The Guild Government addresses student issues and liaises with University management through the Office of the Dean of Students. It is made up of thirty-three officials elected by the student body: the Guild President and Vice President, the Guild Speaker and Deputy, the Secretary General and Deputy, ten ministers and nineteen Guild Representative Councillors (GRCs). During elections students form their own parties within the University rather than align with national political parties.

Guild officials help new students settle in during orientation week, and organise the Freshers’ Ball, sports competitions and the annual cultural gala.
