Information you give us when you apply, register, pay fees, use our online services or contact us — such as your name, contact details, academic records and payment references — and basic technical information about visits to this website.
Why we use it
To process applications and admissions, deliver teaching and examinations, provide student and staff services, meet our legal obligations as a public university, and keep our systems secure.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary and lawful — for example with Government ministries and agencies, the National Council for Higher Education, sponsors and service providers who process data on our behalf under contract.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to object to its use, as provided for by the Act. Write to info@muni.ac.ug.
