The agreement with the Uganda Virus Research Institute–Clinical Research Program, signed on 23 October 2026, opens the way for joint work on research, laboratories, training and internships.
Researchers met at Desert Breeze Hotel in Arua City on 14–15 October 2026. Of 262 papers submitted, 85 were selected for presentation, and Assoc. Prof. Zami Atibuni was named Overall Best Presenter.
