A donation of solar photovoltaic training kits, ICT and laboratory equipment from GIZ will strengthen hands-on training in solar installation, maintenance and system design.

Muni University, in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), has received a comprehensive set of solar training and laboratory equipment: solar photovoltaic training kits, electrical hand tools, measuring instruments and personal protective equipment, as well as laptops, projectors and connectivity tools.

The equipment supports competence-based training for students, instructors and diploma graduates in technical fields, with a focus on solar installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and system design — helping to close the shortage of skilled solar technicians in West Nile and opening green jobs and enterprises.

The equipment will greatly enhance our training capacity and ensure our students graduate with real-world competencies in solar energy systems.
