Muni University held a press conference at its main campus on 18 March 2026, ahead of the launch of its Institute of Leadership and Governance on 23 March.
The Vice Chancellor, Assoc. Prof. Simon Anguma Katrini, said the Institute will offer leadership training, coaching and research, and will complement the faculties’ programmes rather than award its own degrees. He said capacity-building programmes had already started in Arua City, Terego, Yumbe, Koboko and Bulambuli District.
